Hi folks, thank you for the interest in this request. We are strongly considering adding this support and I will update this post as soon as I have more information.

We utilize ARM via AWS Graviton2 and had to migrate away from CircleCI as the ARM docker executor is not yet supported. It's much cheaper to ditch CircleCI than it is to not adopt Graviton2 given the savings on our cloud bill.

I'm very interested in this feature. CircleCI is the missing link in build chain with lack of Docker ARM support.

As others have said, despite this feature being critical to migrate workloads to arm64, there has been little feedback from CircleCI regarding its implementation. In particular, the original post clearly highlights the interest for arm64 docker executor. As the post was marked as complete after the release of arm64 machine resources, the score of the current request misrepresents the interest for this feature. Any update would be appreciated.

Would looove to see this being implemented. Our CI is simply not complete without it.

We're are also planning to evaluate switching our infrastructure to arm (graviton2). It would be of great help if you could just provide multi arch builds for cimg with buildx. You don't even need arm64 machines do do that ;)
