Increase DLC cache limit

Since late 2022, CircleCI has rolled out a new Docker Layer Caching (DLC) implementation:
Currently (as of May 2023), we noted there is a cache size limit of 15 GB; Images pulled or built that are larger than this limit will be purged (not saved).
It would be great if we can allow users to increase this cache limit.
Perhaps versioned via the paid plan tiers, or choosing the "resource size" for DLC storage.

Our images are also larger than 15GB. For now we're trying to use an external cache like Al Clark suggested, but download times might be a blocker as well.
It would be nice to have the option to opt-in for more DLC storage in a premium plan.
