Globus allows for access to research data across institutional centers and local servers, meaning that a researcher could move code and tested files directly from CI to a shared research cluster. It would be akin to deploying a container to Docker Hub, but instead moving it directly to the scientist's working space. Globus already supports Github (and other) authentication so it might be fairly easy. I have experience with the Globus Python SDK (and other languages) and would love to help in maximum capacity!
