Add support for gitlab.com
Self hosted gitlab repository too, please
I want to migrate all my projects from GitHub to GitLab since Microsoft acquired GitHub. I would prefer circleci over the built in CI in GitLab. Please add support for gitlab.com.
just a thought what if Circle CI hosted a git repo? in the essence of a distributed version control system users could simply add 2 remotes.https://stackoverflow.com/questions/14290113/git-pushing-code-to-two-remotes?answertab=votes#tab-top
Thinking out loud,
I realize that gitlab may be seen as a competitor, but in the wake of current news its a huge opportunity to support gitlab. I may have to abandon circleci in the future if I have to use only GitHub or BitBucket.
To that end, why not look at supporting gogs or gitea. Self hosting is going to be much more common as a result of all the GitHub/Microsoft refugees realizing that sticking all their eggs in one basket wasn't such a great idea....
Since the announcement of Microsoft's acquisition of GitHub I am looking into ending my relationship with GitHub and moving all of my projects over to GitLab. The only blocker so far to doing this is the lack of GitLab support in CircleCI. I understand GitLab also offers their own CI Framework but I have no plans to migrate my old projects over. I have several clients with paid CCI accounts and wish to migrate them all across.
gitlab support please! Hurry microsoft bought github... wewant to move off github to gitlab and still use circleci.
Of course, voted.
+1 for GitLab support.
+1 on GitLab
+1 already moved to gitlab and need circleci
Seriously ? Gitlab not yet supported ???
We're in the process of selecting our company build system and it's sad that I can't even recommend CircleCI because of its lack of support for Gitlab.
Please add circle CI support in GITLAB.
Thanks and Regards,
Supporting Gitlab would be awesome, but Gitlab has its own CI with unlimited build times for both public/private repos.
Please add gitlab support +1 :D
GitLab intergration hook +1
Hey guys, you are losing a lot of customers that use gitlab!
Github is having a pretty bad outage just now. Pls ?
Currently looking for a CI solution - really interested in Circle, but GitLab integration is a dealbreaker. +1 for GitLab.
Please, please, please. +1 for Gitlab support.
Quite surprised to see that Gitlab is not supported.I wonder why!?This makes it hard to chose CircleCI as CI solution.I would opt to use Gitlab CI instead, until CircleCI finally support Gitlab.com projects.

How hard can it be to run git clone/fetch/merge from gitlab versus github or bitbucket...its the same git commands to a different git host...this should not even be a barrier. What ever git host you have should just be configurable and a key added the plumbing is common to all of them, does not matter if it is gitgarden3000
It is exciting to see the growing interest in GitLab integration. Expanding our VCS support is on the mid-term roadmap including GitLab and BitBucket Server. Right now we are focused on expanding our Orbs partner network, expanding our Pipeline APIs, and in bringing Windows Pipelines to market. Out of curiosity, how many of you are using GitLab in the cloud vs self-hosted?
We’re using it in the cloud at the moment.

We're on self hosted gitlab.
github cloud for us
+1 I actually stopped using your services for this project because of lack of this integration. I moved to Integrated Gitlab CI
Gitlab CI it's too slow.
I need it for my team, please :)
Looks like no one cares about Gitlab support despite it has been requested a couple of years ago
PLEASE ADD SUPPORT FOR GITLAB
Self hosted... and will have to leave CirclCI soon (> $1k month spend)... if this isn't solve soon :(
+1 for gitlab support
Self hosted gitlab support too
